DIY Bathroom Cleaner (Spring Cleaning Series 2)

Earlier this week I shared my homemade laundry detergent, today I’m sharing the last bathroom cleaner you will ever use! The best thing about this cleaner is that it is 2 simple ingredients and therefore dirt cheap! At first I was skeptical that this simple recipe would be able to clean as well as my Clorox cleanup or my Tilex. But let me tell you this thing is wayyyyy better than any commercial cleaner you can buy. I sprayed this on my shower glass and came back ten minutes later to clean glass….as in no scrubbing and it was clean! its simply amazing. I use it all around the bathroom, the toilet, the tub, the shower, the counters, it cleans everything. Its been over two years now and I haven’t looked back, so give it a try and let me know what you think.

Here is the recipe for your DIY Bathroom Cleaner:
1 part white vinegar
1 part blue dawn dishwashing liquid
Now usually I would say any dishwashing liquid, but there is something about the blue dawn that works way better than any other soap I have tried with this recipe, even the orange dawn just doesn’t cut it. Its sounds crazy but I’m serious don’t skimp on the blue dawn.
So how I mix this is I add 1 cup of vinegar and warm it up in the microwave, then I add one cup of dawn.

Of course if vinegar smell isn’t your thing, you can add any essential oil for smell, my go too is usually lavender oil.

Warning: do not shake! Just turn the bottle upside down a couple times slowly to mix and you are ready to go.
