Now that the girls are in school we had to do valentines for all their classmates. And as usual having twins means double of everything, and no we can’t do one from the both of them, they each have to give one to every kid in the class. That makes for a whole lot of valentines! I realized pretty quickly I needed something cheap but cute. One trip to dollar tree and I had my idea. Straws!

These aren’t exactly printables but they are so cute!! these would also be great as birthday party favors cause they could double as photo booth props. I will have to remember these for a future party for the twinkies. Thank you card maker magazine.
These were also from Lil Luna
Bargain Briana had these cuties
So with these Valentine’s Day Class gift ideas in hand, I printed out the printable and cut them out in squares and rectangles.
The straws came 7 in a package for $1
Insert straws and viola!
BONUS PROJECT!
I also made a little box for them to take their straws to school in, and also to collect the valentines they received from their classmates. No clutter, valentines have their place this year!
I just took a shoe box and drew a small rectangle on the lid and using my exacto knife I cut out the rectangle
Easy peasy
Next step….cover the shoe box with gift wrap paper.
Cut through the gift wrap paper where the slit is in the lid.
And there it is.
Easiest decoration ever, duck tape!! I love all the pretty duck tape they have nowadays, I just happened to pick this one up over a year ago and never used it. It was perfect for this project
The girls proudly walked into school with their box of valentines today
Extremely simple project, you could even have the kids decorate their own boxes!
