Step by Step Tutorial for Hexagon Cord Board

Cut your hexagon out of your hexagon shape template, if you don’t have a Home Made Luxe kit, simply google hexagon shape and download a 5″ hexagon.

Place your paper hexagon on the cork tile so the bottom edge and left side are touching.

Place ruler on each side of the hexagon and use box cutter to score/cut the cork along the ruler on each side.
Once all sides are scored, bend each corner of the cork tile until they break off leaving a hexagon shape.
Once all the cork tiles are cut into hexagons, get creative! use the tape to create any design you would like.

For the design I used: lay out the paper drop cloth and paint 5 tiles white and 5 tiles gold. Let dry, it may need two coats.

Cut a piece of tape about half an inch wide to use as a spacer. Place spacer on edge of hexagon and then add a full strip of tape across on a diagonal. Repeat this and add a second diagonal piece of tape.
