Today I want to show you guys how to paint outdoor furniture! Specifically how to paint old, rusty outdoor furniture.
So i’m sitting at home one day and look out the window to see this! My neighbor Rinku put her old patio set on the curb for thrash collection. I think you already know what happened. I quickly called her and said girl do you really not want that patio set? If not I’ll take it! She immediately sent her husband to bring it over to my backyard. My husband came home and said what on earth is that in our backyard. HA!
I was sooo excited to get my hands on this set, yes it was old, yes it was rusty but I had a vision. Well a vision and lots of spray paint!
I immediately put my husband to work who wondered how on earth do I always get roped into YOUR bright ideas hehe.
My vision was a tropical oasis for this patio set, I got Rust-Oleum spray paints in shades of blue and white. I purchased
Then I put hubby to work! We sanded and wiped down everything, then removed the tiles from the table and we spray painted the base of the table white. Then we spray painted the chairs different shades of blue, two of each shade. And finally we spray painted the tiles from the table white and both shades of blue.
I’m sooo happy with the finished product. I think the different shades of blue work together beautifully and create a tropical oasis in my backyard.
And here is this amazing beauty all dolled up for s Spring brunch. Scroll down to check out my video on all the details.
