I recently had the pleasure of seeing a preview of Sprouts original series from Sprout: FLOOGALS. I am so excited about the debut on January 23rd at 8pm ET that I had to share it with you. FLOOGALS is all about the adventures of three inquisitive aliens exploring Earth for the first time. What I love about it is that these little aliens mimic what our preschoolers go through everyday because at their age every thing is a new experience. The world is fresh and new and ripe for learning and discovery.
While the show is for kids ages 2-6 I enjoyed it so much. First off the cinematography is amazing, even though the hilarious characters Captain Fleeker, First Officer Flo, and Junior Boomer are animated the show is shot entirely in a real life home. It makes for an amazing experience as the aliens are not only exploring real spaces just like your children do every day but also from down low just like how our children see the world. I think its summed up by the fact that for our children even an ordinary day is extraordinary because everything new and a chance for learning.
FLOOGALS allows us to see Captain Fleeker, First Officer Flo and Junior Boomer on missions of discovery, using gadgets and teamwork to learn about this new planet. Lord knows I’m trying to teach the twincesses teamwork so I’m excited this show will help me with that mission!
