Caramel Pecan Cinnamon Roll Recipe

This caramel pecan cinnamon roll recipe is my husbands all time favorite cinnamon roll. and yes it is right up there with Cinnabun. These cinnamon rolls are so rich and delectable they are so worth the calories! LOL! But one thing they also are is time consuming, there is plenty of time spent mixing, kneading, rolling, and of course waiting on the dough to rise.

Caramel Pecan Cinnamon Roll Recipe - The husband's all- time favorite! These cinnamon rolls are so rich and delectable they are so worth the calories!

I found this amazing recipe on  Mom on Time Out, she makes these overnight and bakes in the morning. I usually just do it all one day, don’t think my husband could wait overnight for these things, he would probably eat them without baking them if i let him lol

Trish at Mom on Time Out didn’t post pics of the recipe step by step so I decided to take a few photos the last time I whipped out a batch for the hubster.

Dough all rolled out and basted with butter (note I use about 1/2 the butter that the recipe calls for…and even that seems like too much butter)

sprinkle on the brown sugar, cinnamon, raisin, pecan mixture. (I use about 3/4 of what the recipe calls for the filling)

roll it all up

Secure with a bit of water.

And cut. I started cutting these too wide and had to go back and cut those pieces in half to make shorter pieces.

You can really see the pieces that were too long here.

yummy yummy swirly goodness

straight out of the oven YUM!

I know they already look heavenly, but this is where you make the amazing caramel icing!

Pour that icing on and watch it seep through every crack and crevice.

You know you can’t resist this delectable cinnamon roll recipe!!
