Welcome to my Home Tour Series. Several of you have been asking for a home tour and I’m glad to finally be starting that today. During my pantry organization video, I went into my dining room and you really wanted to see it all. So here it is, and I also did a video tour that you can watch at the end of this post.

I scored this gorgeous rug at Rugs USA. They always have great sales, I got this one at 80% off, it definitely pays to sign up for their emails so you can catch those sales. I also stenciled the wall when I found a stencil that matched the rug! You can see how I stenciled that wall here.
I like to keep my plates, glasses and serveware on the table year round. It not only looks pretty but it helps me to conserve space in my kitchen cabinets for my more everyday stuff.
I love using all white plates and serve ware. It gives an elegant, cohesive look when entertaining. I also really like square plates, bowls and saucers, these one are from Macy’s and are really heavy. Napkins and napkin rings from Pier One and placemats from dollar tree finish off the look.
I use a chiffon square fabric for a table runner and some bead and jewel garland.
I was able to sew drapes for the room using Pintuck Taffeta fabric from Joann’s.
I use a entertainment center as a buffet. I got it for $50 from someone on Craigslist. It blends really well in the room as a buffet. I am able to store all my serveware and entertaining pieces in this and I also use it for my coffee bar and as a dessert bar during parties.
I also found this really great bar at bed bath and beyond for around $100. So I hope you enjoyed the dining room decor ideas you get from this tour. Let me know what room you would like to tour next!
