Every year I would think this year I want to do this or that. Maybe exercise more, get more date nights with hubby or spend more me time. Then I realized I had the exact same goals every year and I was doing nothing about them! It hit me I need to not only think about a plan, but write it down and find a way to implement it!
I came up with this resolution goal and plan worksheet and guess what? FREE PRINTABLES for you to do this worksheet as well! (scroll to bottom for free printables)
When you think of ways in which to improve yourself, there are so many different areas of your life. Home, family, work, school, social, emotional, physical, spiritual. I decided to make a worksheet for all aspects of my life and really think hard about what I wanted to improve.
After I wrote down my goals. Like say spend more time with hubby. I had to be specific if I wanted this to be a plan. So it turned into Monthly date night with hubby. But when you say monthly its kind of up in the air because you don’t know exactly when and it becomes so easy for 3 months to pass by and you forget all about date night. So to be more specific. The second Saturday of every month is date night for me and hubby.
I found that calendars are the easiest way to make sure I put this plan into place. I have monthly, weekly and daily calendars for the appropriate goals. So I will put the date night with hubby on my Monthly calendar because it will occur the second Saturday of the month.
And finally I can use my daily calendar to figure out exactly how I will accomplish my goals daily.
Not only do I really like this idea, but I really NEED it! Thanks, Bajan Texan!
Yayyer! So glad I could help 🙂
